Vanderbilt University
From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

At Vanderbilt Alpha Delta Pi, we value the power of giving back to our community. That’s why we are committed to philanthropy in many different ways. Ronald McDonald House Charities is ADPi’s national philanthropy, meaning that sisters all over the country work to support this incredible organization. We are lucky enough to have a Ronald McDonald House (RMH) located just down the street, in close proximity to the Vanderbilt Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital. Families stay there while their children receive important care, and we have the opportunity to make their stay a little bit brighter. Whether our sisters are spending time in the kitchen, cooking dinner and making dessert, or working together on site at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House, we contribute to making the RMH truly feel like a “home-away-from-home” for those in need. We also hold exciting fundraisers that engage the entire Vanderbilt and wider Nashville community to help support the important work of the RMH. Sisters can be found flipping pancakes at our annual ADPiHop in the spring or running in our Ronald McDonald 5k in the fall, all with the goal of raising funds and awareness for such an important organization, right in our own neighborhood!
